International Conference to Commemorate the United Nations International Day of Families


From May 14 to 15, 2015, Africa to America Production in collaboration with Global Educators for All Initiative and the Universal Peace Federation - Nigeria will be organizing an International Conference to commemorate the United Nations International Day of Families 2015. The conference will hold at the United Nations Headquarters, New York, USA.

The conference will be a unique gathering to further promote awareness and better understanding of the social, economic and demographic processes affecting the family, as an important unit of society. The conference shall feature experts and professionals in family building services that will facilitate discussions on the issues of marriage and family as well as how to empower institutions and organizations to initiate family programs and services.

The upcoming conference shall feature:

  • Workshop: Conference room meeting to generate plans, analyses and designs to support organizational efforts in addressing the issues of families.
  • Briefing: Interactive session with UN officials with expertise in their fields, providing insight into the UN initiatives for families.
  • Visitation: Guided tour of the United Nations Headquarters and other places in New York.

This is to invite interested persons and organizations to consider registering to attend the upcoming event which is packed with several activities

Registration: Registration for the UN event will cover Workshop Materials, Tea/Coffee Break, Lunch and the Tour. Participants are to cover their travel and accommodation arrangements but we may assist in securing discounted rates for those who need them.

Visa Processing: Registered participants who require travel visas for this purpose shall be assisted.
